Hey everyone, hope you're well. I'm finishing up my 2.3L 4cyl to 5.0 351W swap but I'm stumped on the wiring for the starter solenoid. I am using the orginal one from the 4cyl that has 4 posts. (2 large, 2 small) Any information would be helpful. I'll include photos with this post. Thanks!

The red and yellow cable in the first photo is for the starter. The next Photo with the yellow cable and black and white cable I am unsure and in the photo with the solenoid the red and white cable going to the top small post I am unsure of as well.

All the large ring wires go on the pos side of the battery side of the solenoid except one. That one is the one that goes to the starter, it goes on the other large post all by itself. Can't really help on the small wires, except the 2 small posts are labeled, one is for start from the ign switch, and the other I for ign....

That's ok, ford changed the starter design later, like 90-1 or 2, most swap this type of starter because it is smaller and a better design than the old style starter design that has been used since the 60's, it should work just fine.

@Lomodisjoint
This is how mine is hooked up. My car is a '93 2.3L so this should help but I don't have a 4th post? The solenoid is a Motorcraft part I put in about 2 years ago.
