Need help with strut choice.

Hey SVTers
I just purchased a set of black path caster camber plates and I know maybe they're not the high end set that comes with a big price tag but that's all I could afford....I'm on a budget.
I'm gonna attempt to install it myself. I need your expertise on which front struts I need get, and did I say that I'm on a budget? Any help would be appreciated.

How and on what surfaces are you going to be driving this? A smooth track, drag strip or in pot hole city require different answers on a budget.

Daily driver in a small town. South Carolina so the roads suck anyway... lol

Then an OEM type shock and strut would be a better choice than a drag or road race set. The Monroe Gasmatics have been good shocks/struts.
I really like the new OESpectrum shocks I got on my Merc cop car. It does not float or bounce at all, yet the bumps are not jarring. They are much smoother than the KYB’s, with all the control. We ended up with KYB’s on a different vehicle, and it rides like a plumbing van.

I have KYBs on mine too. I hate them. I'd spend a little more.

Does it matter if it's a turbo car?

A turbo’s extra weight is not enough to throw off my recommendation for a budget, quality ride, strut and shock combo. An iron head and manifold 460 would be better off with bigger springs and adjustable shocks, but that is a lot more weight.

Stay on a budget and do not settle for lesser parts. Used Maximum Motorsports C/C Plates are as fine as new. They (M.M.) sell struts and shocks. If you have a 94-98, then mention to them about purchasing FOX Body sets to lower it properly, Steeda balljoints only and Maximum Motors bumpsteer kit, FORD rubber bushings,.... Buy piece by piece and do it right by a MUSTANG specialist.
My complete build top to bottom when lowered the Green coupe is on here, "robb15033" if Googled. Parts list, pictures before/after..FYI

I just installed BC racing coilovers on my 97 Cobra. The ride height is nice, but the ride is a little stiff, even though they are set on the softest ride. (30 clicks of adjustability) I have never had a sports car, so maybe I'm expecting too much. I've heard that's just how sports cars ride. I only have a Lexus LS 400, and Toyota camry's to compare it to. lol

Need help with strut choice.
