I posted this at svtperformance http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=117139

Anyways, long story short, I flooded my engine. The mechanic called today and said it's caput.

Where do I go to get a new one? Can I even get a new SVT model since they are hand built? If not what do I do???

Ford Racing Performance Parts sell all the snake engines in the 2004 catalouge. If the sticker is important then swap the cam cover. But you might want to take the insurance money and get some good rods and pistons, just incase the red mist comes upon you and you feel like say 600+ HP.

04 block? Sure...04 motor including s/c?....well if you have enough $$. Would be cheaper to buy a kb though. Last quote for new parts I heard was like 10k for parts.
