I just took out the stock shifter and I do not see any oil inside the transmission!! Is it normal? If not, then upto where do I fill it in and what type of oil should I use?

You should have oil in the trannsmission or you will fry it.The oil
capacitie is 2 1/2-3 qts in a T-3650.Any ATF will work but,I do
recommend Mobil One ATF though.Take off the trannys' drain plug
and make sure there is no fluid before filling or else you will overfill it.
You can pour the fluid in through the hole or through the hole in the
tranny.Good Luck!
