Need Help!!

Ok heres my dilema. When I bought my twisted wedge heads the guy told me they were non o-ringed. Well I bought fel pro-1011-2 non o-ring gaskets for them. When I went to put my heads on last night the heads had a groove in them. These to me are o ringed. Would my non o ringed gasket work? It has a wire around it so whats the big deal?

Shouldn't be a problem. The problem occurs the other way -- trying to use an o-ring gasket when the head or block isn't cut for it.
