need help

ok this is the deal when driving my car it tends sputter or bog... it also has a weird sounding back firing noise. and this is every time im start it up and let it warm up for about 5 min then leave and drive it.

do you have any mods to the car? when does it sputter and bog? when is the back firing noise?

too much fuel, not enough fuel, off timing, what is on your car if stock might just need a tune up plug,wires,cap,rotor

.my mods are a home made cold air intake with 3" pipe. also edelblock intake, rear diff, shifter kit, and H pipe.

.it sputters about a half a mile away from where i was.

.and the backfiring noise is like a popping noise and that car also jerks

Does it have any codes? The check engine light doesn't need to be illuminated for codes to be present.

well i don't have a check engine light but how would you know if you have codes then.

and i believe it my be the fuel lines are dirty? whats a good solution to fix this?

You don't have one at all, or it isn't currently illuminated? It may still have codes stored that you need to retrieve from the EEC. Clean gasoline is a good solution to clean dirty fuel lines.

try cleaning your MAF too.
