Hey guys,
I have dug,dug and dug on the tv cable issue. My tranny on my 91 LX 5.0 AOD will not shift out of 2nd gear. It will downshift to 1st. I have read where Ford had a rebuild kit for the TV cable. I found the part number for the kit and even called a Ford parts dept here locally and they have no clue. The cable is not connected to the throttle body. Need help guys.

The cable is supposed to be connected to the throttle body on the same linkage that the throttle cable is on...go to www.50resto.com they should have the replacement cable for it then get a haynes manual to show you how to adjust it

No wonder, the # is f3sz-7h303-b. Its a brass bushing and pin kit. Part # eoaz-7f330-a is a replacement plastic bushing that would work as well.
