Well I ordered me the bassani o/r X...

From what some people say it sounds really tin can like, others say it has a very deep bass sound.

They say the tin noise is from chambered mufflers.

I have Vortex mufflers and have no clue as to whether they are chambered or not.

Does anyone know of the vortex or can tell me what chambered is?

This way I know if I have made a mistake with this.

Everything is stock on my exhaust setup except for the vortex mufflers.

i wouldnt say a tin can, more like a 55 gallon drum. I would say they are slightly metallic sounding. However, their quality and fitment is bar none, and their stuff is top of the line.

I have the bassani offroad X on my car. I originally had 2 chamber flowmasters on the car with it and HATED the sound. It was ear piercing and not in a good way. I have switched to dynomax welded ultraflows and they sound KILLER. Very exotic and muscular is the only way to describe it.
