the vehicle that im working on is actually a 86 bronco with a 5.0. i put a needle through the black and the orange wires on the tps. put my meter on them and got 5.03 volts. how do i adjust it. ive tried everything and it stays at 5.03 please help me im going nuts.
5 volts isent right, that should be the reading you get at WOT. 0% throttle should read around .96 volts. Check the way you hooked up your meter, I'm not sure how you adjust it, but try loosing it and turning it. See if that works
i have always pieced the green wire with a thumb tach and put the red leed to the tach and the black leed to the throttle body with the key on you will proably see 1.34 volts
