I need the OEM camshaft specs for two mustang engines. The first is a 1964 1/2 D model 289 4 bbl engine. The second is a 1965 A model 289 4 bbl engine. The D and the A coming from the engine type in the VIN number of the car.

I am looking for the Intake and Exhaust events, at .050 in. that the intake opens and closes and the same for the exhaust. If you have it at a different point of opening and closing just let me know the lift value. Or the Intake Lobe Centerline and the Exhaust Lobe Centerline would also work. I know the Lobe Lift for both engines should be .230 for the Intake and .237 for the exhaust. Any help would be appreciated.

CompCams offers some original grind camshafts, but I believe the only one is a K-code for 289s. At least that's all I could find. Google "muscle car factory camshaft" and it should be one of the first links.

I also recall that P.A.W. had a set of original cams (and cam specs) in their catalog. I could check this tomorrow, but if someone else has a catalog on hand they can check a lot more quickly.
