this is my first time rebuilding a 5.0. who has the most complete gasket kits? every time I look at one is say bla bla bla does not include oil pain, water pump gaskets etc etc. I already have all the rings and the bearings and freeze plugs are already installed on the block. I just need to find a gasket kit that has everything I need. I hate cobbling things together.

I bought the Ford Racing engine gasket set which has everything for a rebuild. Of course you'll need things like throttle body gaskets, upper intake etc. if you need them which it doesn't come with. It's really justed packaged Fel-Pro stuff.

I ended up purchasing different Fel-Pro rubber/steel valve cover gaskets instead of the included cork ones and a 1 piece rubber oil pan gasket instead of the 4 piece. I'm still in the process of putting it together but it seems to be going well with this set. It goes for around 92 US on ebay.

I have had too many issues with leaky cork gasket and removing the garbage is a chore all in itself. I would gladly pay double for a kit that did not have cork in it.
for valve covers silicone is the only way to go. you can use them over and over and over and over again.

well it was recommended to me to pick up both the Ford Racing rubber valve cover gaskets and 1 pc. oil pan gasket. I think I picked up both for like 35 bucks from the local shop........
