Hello all....I just signed up to the forums...I've been reading info on this site this week and have found it most helpful. I am now sure that I want to get an 06 GT black/red have some questions and hope that they haven't been addressed already.
The things I am curious about with the 06's is:
1. If you all think that Ford will start to produce enough GT's to meet demand unlike what happened for 05 models? I'm hoping that Ford just didn't anticipate that they would sell like hot cakes.....cause the alternative is that they produced few of them as a marketing scheme to make people want them even more. I doubt that customers would stand for another model year of such limited availability.
2. Is early August when production will start on the 06's? Or is that when they should start rolling out? I believe that I've read that the order forms were out June 1st. But I have yet to get an answer from any of the dealers in my state (Nebraska--try not to make fun of me too much, hehe) as to when they should start showing up on the lots. If August is when production starts I would assume that they would ship 6-8 weeks after that??
The thing is that I prob won't have a chance of getting the GT with A Plan without the dealer having them in stock. I will have to sell my 04 on my own because the dealers will only give me wholesale for trade-in since they won't be making much on the car. So I don't see how I could go in and order one without selling my car first....cause if i don't sell it by the time the car comes in I'd have to trade it in and the new car payment would suck then. It's the only car I have to drive.
In case noone noticed i'm way too impatient...when I find a car I want I don't like having to wait to get it. But then again I'm sure that most of us are like that too.
