i have a sony amp Sony XM-2165GTX

im installing it back into my car to check out my two subs to see if theyre working properly however theres a problem.

when the car is on accessory, the amp works fine, however when u start the car, something trips the protector within the amp and does not function

any ideas?

maybe when you hooked up the remote power wire, you tapped into the wrong wire. it should be "t'ed" intop the ignition wire i think, and maybe you have it tapped strictly into the accessory. just shooting in the dark
