hey i recently got my mustang back on the road, yay! it is a GT block, but other than that the entire thing is NOT stock. The oil pump is the COBRA oil pump. when i first got the car on the road the oil pressure when doing a cold start was 100psi, settling down to a running temp idle with 37psi. Now only two months of being back on the road the oil pressure for a cold start goes up to 100psi for only seconds then drops down to about 30psi, and when idling at running temp the gauage creeps down towards ZERO. Litterly everything in that motor is brand new.
what could be the problem? Oil level has not changed smokes alittle outback, runs the same with no noise. Could it be that the oil pan gasket broke and a little piece of it is blocking the oil pickup? Or could it just be the oil pressure gauage or the sending unit?
Any ideas guys?
Thanks
