All right,
My car has sat for a while, 8 months w/o being started.
I started to bring her out of hibernation...
1. Initially the starter was failing, the thing was turning like turtle and with a jump stopped all together.
2. Replaced the starter with a PA Hi Torque Starter..
3. She cranks superbly now as expected.
-BUT no ignition...
Turn key to 'ON' and pump buzzes to life
Spray ether into the TB and it pops and spits and backfires - it ignites!
Fuel pressure at the rail seems to be about 40 psi as I crank, yet no ignition
THE INJECTORS...
These are all fairly new low mile units... Any ideas, it seems to be the electrical connection to the injectors right? Tracing back the injectors...
I have a PMS ECU. Check all the grounds right... otherwise, replacing TPS, PIP are best places to start for possible corroded connections?
THANKS
