hi can any one tell me how to remove the top cover on a borg warner T5. thanx

u need to remove the shifter, push the pin out of where the shifter thing goes into, pull that out, pull off that tailshaft housing, and then u can take out the top cover bolts and it will come off

Also make sure it is in neutral, and you will have to lift up the cover a little, then slide it over to passenger side of the trans and then it will come off.
