Ever since I put those 24lb's with 190lph and FPR I can't get my car to run right. I did change the sampling tube to a 24 when the swap was made. Could someone with a lot more knowledge than me help me with a good range to set the FP at? I have tried everything from 30 to 40 with the vacumn on. It's rich on startup and sometimes kills when warmed up, but up top at WOT it seems to hesitate like it's lean. I just need a safe number until I put on the heads, cam, rockers, and timing chain. Then I will get it dyno'd and send off for a chip.

Help please!!!

I was told to adjust fuel pressure with the car running and the vaccum line disconnected from the FPR. But i have been told things wrong before.

Indeed, you should adjust for true fuel pressure with the vacuum hose disconnected. However before doing this, make sure you plug the vacuum line with something to prevent creating a vacuum leak.

As far as how much pressure? I would suggest the stock pressure setting of 39psi. You'll be all day adjusting for this unless you have a gauge. I would invest in one by looking at your signature. They're relatively cheap and very easy to install. The aftermarket chip idea is a sound decision. I recommend a JMS configuration.

Hope this helps!

I brought an AFPR for my tune a few days ago just incase I needed it but I landed up keeping the stock FPR on there. It does the job fine and the tune worked out well..
