Need some help with my delema??

Iam in the process of restomodding my 1973 Mach! and already for the first time I have replaced most of the inner fender aprons, front suspension reconstructed the upper cowl, but now I'm stumped with this delema I am enclosing a pic of the left and right hand door pillars the problem is it has somerust damage preety big holes and knowing this is a major support for long and heavy door I have no idea how to tackle this repair. Any information on how should I approach this would be greatly apppreciated.

I've seen a lot worse. It looks to me that the damage is actually quite small, extending little beyond the holes. As such, you can simply buttweld repairs in place.

This pillar had similar damage, some of which is already repaired here:

use patch panels, you will probably have to make your own, and weld them into place after removing the rust. use sheet metal of the same thickness as the original metal.
