Here is my situation. I have taken my Novi off because I kept on having problems running lean. Well I have got the boost bug again and I am going to install it again. So I decided to put it all together piece by piece. The first thing I have done is take out my stock fuel inj.(24lbs) and maf. Replaced with 38lbs and a pro-m 77 calibrated for them. Also have put in my FMU with a 6:1 disc for now, and a brand new Aeromotive fuel regulator. Here is where the problem comes in, It will barely idle with it unless I set my pms to have some extra idle fuel. It also leans way out when I am at wot. I figured it was the maf but I haved also tried a pro-80 with no change, what should I try next???? I can't proceed with installing the NOvi until I fix this. I will be installing the wide band on Monday but I think I have something else wrong...

Why do you say the car is running lean? Do you mean detonation, or just not enough fuel?

What are the spark/fuel tables setup for on the PMS? (i.e. 6psi, 8psi, etc?) Were they even changed at all?

Sounds like you need a dyno tune & chip reburn to me.

Novi isn't even on the car right now!!!! Does't lean out with the stock inj, mass air, but it does with bigger inj and mass air, that is why my question comes up. Are the mass air different for 87-93 comp, 94-95 GT comp, 94-95 Cobra comp. Pro-m has different part numbers for each!!!!

i don't know exactly about the cobras, but they do have a different computer setting than the gts, that way the gt and cobra have same mass air, but different size injectors, i am not sure if just by putting in a MAf cal'd for 36's that it stays cal'd for 36's in the computer, or if the computer advances it to say the next size up/?????

somone else will have to chime in on this

i know the calibration on the pro-m's are different with supercharge app's, adn they are the same sensor etc. for the foxes and sn-95's and the same cal. but they are tuned for cold air intakes or stock aiboxes etc. directly from pro-m

I dont think you need an FMU with 38's unless youre running boost AND nitrous.

From what I am told the 38's with the Novi are real close to not being enough. Hence the reason I have the fmu on there for safety. I wonder if the cobra computer is messing me up, I'll try my buddies GT computer on Monday.
