Need some help.

Well for some reason my car likes to ping now that it got hot outside. But when the it gets coo it stops. What can be causing the ping.

My second question is what should I do next. The mods I have now is Mac LT,OFR Hpipe,and magnapack mufflers. I was thinking about going with gears but not sure. my goal is to be in the 13s, so what ever will get me closer to my goal I will take. Thanks for any help. My Budget right now is 550.

How do i clean my egr,pcv.What should i use.

There was another thread I was reading earlier, where a guy with a gt had the same pinging problem. His fix was the Vacuum line going from the fuel pressure regulator, to the Intake plenum. even though his was still intact, it was brittle and not sealing onto the regulator properly thus, causing this ping symptom. Maybe you could check this? Good luck, hope it helps....

As for your second question..... H/C/I will help get you there quick. Yes to the gears.... one of the best mods out there....

Edit: for the budget you posted... count the H/C/I stuff out. Definitely get the gears, though.

you can back timing down a little or up the octane. This is normal if temps get a good bit hotter than they were.

One can also clean the MAF, ACT, ECT, etc. Some folks have luck with Seafoam.
