I guess this is a post your picture thread.

I'm bored and want to spend money. My car is a DD so no performance mods, just appearance only. I want to dress up the interior a bit in a classy way.

So give me some ideas. Here's where i'm starting with
View attachment 389923

I don't want anything over the top, just some classy touches. I was considering either the 03/04 cobra leather shift boot and e-brake handle/boot or the leather boots from redlinegood.com, but i was also debating satin A/C knobs and headlight knob and other things like that.

Ideas??

EDIT: I know the floormats are dirty. I have new ones. I use the OEM ones for daily driving it to and from work and save the good ones for when i go to shows or out on cruises with friends in the car

I have steeda billet cruise control buttons, lighter, headlight knob, along with the steeda shift knob and shifter bezel. those things alone make a difference, i love them (I also have white face gauges)

I did new gauges and painted a few things DSG, I didn't paint the whole radio console thing...just the trim.
The gauges are silver (just reflected the flash in the pic, that glow bluish at night)

and a MGW shift knob with the polished pony

Stuff isn't too noticeable but makes it look a little nicer. I plan on putting more clear coat on what i painted to make it shine and stand out a little more.

Well i sorta have the same thing done. My GT is silver, and in my pic you can see i have the silver center console trim. It matches the exterior color perfectly. I was debating doing the door pods, but unsure if i can get them to match Ford's OEM silver trim color.

If i can find the same paint ford uses for the IUP center cluster then i'll do it

I kinda hate the black 12V+ plug next to the shifter, was i was thinking of getting a functional satin finish cig plug to put there. I don't smoke, but i'd kinda like to have it in case i need it for something. I remember seeing some that said GT on them or had the mustang logo. Anyone know where they have those?

Basically checkout MGW's site, UPR's site, and Steeda's site. Personally I would leave it the way it is! Your car is clean, you don't need any blang blang on the inside to make it nicer

Mustang5L5, i have a kenwood double din in-dash 7inch touchscreen DVD player that fits flush in the center console, I am really surprised more people dont have this as it makes the boring stang interior look about 48x better..that stock radio is a ugly POS..you should *really* consider getting a in-dash double din screen..I got navigation,tv tuner..all that stuff, and it was fairly cheap..bought it about a year ago. I'll try and get some pics if I find my digicam.

I don't really want to touch the stereo or get into some high-dollar mods. More than likely, i will be selling the car at the end of the summer for a luxury car that already has Nav, i'm just looking for small touches than can always be undone when i go to trade it in.

I have the UPR ac knobs, headlight knob, bullit door locks, & tilt lever. & I have the MGW E brake handle, turn signal/windsheild washer knob, & Mach 1 lighter. All my stuff is satin finish, so its not too flashy. Just makes it look more classy, and is much better than cheap plastic. Next I need the cup holder bezels & maybe power window switches & cruise control buttons. Sorry bout the crappy pics.

That helps out a lot since you have the silver IUP trim like I have. Now i can see what the parts look like together.

How was it installing the MGW e-brake handle? Does it just slip over the OEM handle? Also, the cig lighter is function correct??

Maybe i'll just do the ebrake and lighter for now.

My friend just sent me a link to some smoked diamond clear foglights that I have wanted for a LONG time now. I gotta order these since they will match the headlights perfectly!

Those foglights are sick..i want those too. The e brake handle is tooo easy. Took about 5 minutes to install. My car also didnt have a lighter & that ugly 12v plug. The lighter functions perfectly, although KNOWONE will ever get to smoke in my ride. Everything was easy to install except for the headlight knob, & tilt lever. It was just because the stock parts were so hard to remove.

Lol same here. I want a lighter because that 12V black plug looks stupid, but more than likely nobody will ever use it.

I'll prob do the e-brake, cig plug and maybe the front cupholder trim ring and those foglights and that should hold me over for a couple weeks lol

Theres nothin wrong with sprucing up the interior a bit, but I dont know how u hold up from doing performance mods. I had my car for only a week & I started changing the suspension. Now its far from stock.

I only said I refrain from performance mods for the GT. If you look at my sig, you'll notice i own TWO Mustangs.

I buy performance mods for the 5.0 all the time. I've spent thousands modifying that car. If i start modding TWO Mustangs, i'll be too broke for my other hobbies

So i try to limit myself to one, but i want to do little things here and there to my GT

I think your interior looks classy just the way it is. The only things I would change, would be a nice e-brake handle, and a shorter redline products shift boot, that lets the handle of the shifter stick out some. That looks absolutely killer with a Steeda shift handle.

Well i already have an MGW shifter, so no steeda handle for me.

But i have often wondered how a really short shift boot would look that only goes to the bottom of the MGW shifter. That way you could see the annodized machine finish.

But then again, my MGW handle is red, so it won't really match anything.

I think i'm gonna just go with the e-brake, cig lighter and the redline boots. I made another post on the boots the other day as i was considering them as well
