need some instrument cluster help...

i installed white faceplates, but when i turn them on at night, i still get the original lights someone shining through. how do i disconnect the stock back lights?

if you bought the faceplates that don't light up on their own, then that's the best you're gonna get. if you bought the reverse glow ones, i'm not sure how to answer your question

I think the stock light are like those peanut sized bulbs plugged and twisted into the back of the cluster. All you need to do is pull them out of there.

white face and rev glow are completely diff. the white face is suppose to show your stock lights. i think you prob wanted the rev glow to get that neon color blue/green. you could change the bulbs in the cluster but that literally makes is almost impossible to see anything. trust me i've done it. try those new blue frost dash light on ebay.

yea sorry iv got the glow gauges, NOT the reverse glow. where are the little bulbs, i looked and didnt see em

no offense but if you take out the bulbs, you won't have any guages at night

but if you must know they're on the back of the instrument cluster when you take it out, there's like this circuit board plastic on the back, and the plastic knobs just unscrew and the bulb comes out. really hard to not figure this one out if you've got the cluster out already
