I just bought a 11 GT premium Kona Blue.

Im wanting a good stripe kit for it. I want it to look just like the GT 500. So i think they are 12" wide. Where would i get a set?

Also im wanting to know where i can find a HID kit for the headlights HIGH/LOW and the fog lights as well.

Thanks for the help

Stripes are 10" wide I think . . .

Google Baltimore Mustang Street Mods. That will pull up one source for stripes. I have another at home I'll try to remember to PM you.

Are you going to do the striping yourself? I haven't decided if I'll install the grabber blue stripes on my new white GT of have it done for me.

Some say it is pretty straightforward, others say it is a pain.

Why didn't you just order the HID's with your 2011?

That was a cheap way for ford to kind of force people to get the security package I feel the same way, I want HIDs but not the security package. Ill be installing my own alarm once I pick mine up. I did find a nice aftermarket HID kit. HID Dual Beam Headlight Conversion Kit for 05-09 Mustang (H13 Bulb) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

Those look nice, are dual beams, and affordable.

Couple more questions.

If i get a set of stick on stripes what are the best kind? Vynal? Will they look good? Will they peel up or fade or anything like that? What if i wanted to paint them on right after i get the car?

I just dont want to ruin my car by putting graphics on it if its going to look cheap?

HID....

What bulbs do i need? H10 for the headlight and H13 for the fogs? And the Head lights need to be dual beam right? So should i get 55w8000k for both the head lights and the fogs?

Thanks

Most people swear by 3M vinyl graphics. My car will be garaged when not driven so I expect they'll last years. If not, they can always be re-applied.

I found a local shop that will do 10" stripes in addition to a Boss style L stripe for $500 including tax. The color is Olympic Blue which is very close to grabber blue. I think my car will be in next week and I can maybe get the stripes done on Friday. I'll post pics if/when I get it finished.
