Need to go on disability

I know this is not proper to place on this forum but i need to know if anyone has had a similar situation.

I have to go out on disability and I still owe over $20,000 on my stang. I have the disability insurance I took out when I bought the car. Does anyone know how that works? Will I lose my car? Has anyone else been in my situation?

if you have the insurance, notify them and you won't have to make payments as long as you are dissabled. you will have to show some kind of proof that you can't work. you won't lose the car. that's what the insurance is for.

you'll have to read the specifics of the insurance you signed up for. there may or may not be a limit, like 6 months, that they will pay. and they will only pay the minimum for as long as you are disabled.
