Need tuning info!

I have a 2003 GT with K&N CAI, 75mm throttle body, flowmaster catback exh, and 4:10 rear ratio. i cant run any better than 14.4. is that right? should i have had any tuning done after those minor mods? please help with any info possible

those numbers don't sound right is your car an Auto ar 5 speed in either case you have to recalibrate the speedo for the gear swap if you havent done that because there is not much info to go by.

You should be running faster than that. I ran a 14.33 with only welded in MAC's and a drop-in K&N. As already posted, a tune will recalibrate your speedometer.

havn't calibrated the speedo... does that prove the same for my rpm guage? it seems like i'm hitting my redline limiter to soon. on the track i have to shift into 4th to prevent the rev limiter from hitting in?

you do not need a tune and yes that is normal to shift into 4th.

Just learn how to drive the car better.

yeah for any type of gear swap you have to recalibrate your speedo when i got my 3.73's on i got the diablosport also and recalibrated everything to my 3.73 swap, my shift points and shift firmness and stuff like that

you have a manual correct? You will only need to recalibrate the speedo.

if he usedto stay in third and now has to shift to fourth, I'd say he is manual.

The times ar probably right. get some DR and practice launching on the 4.10s.

yeah they sell the speedo calibration for 5 speed's try modular power house or steeda some of those shops

oh one more... why take off the throttle body(75mm)?? what should i put on?

TBs arent really worth it on a N/A 4.6L. a 75mm really only helps on a blown car. if you dont ever plan on going w/ forced induction, you should replace the 75mm w/ a 70mm.

when i would race my friends GT before i got mine i would launch his car at around 3500-4000 rpm and slip the clutch to the point where the tires would be able to break traction and it would give me good 60ft times in the 2.1-2.0

what tires are you running right now?? think about some Nitto drag radials for the rear
