ive been looking at getting rims for my yellow mach 1. and im finding it difficult to decide on which ones to go with. im leaning towards a black rim but the anthracite has been growing on me a little bit. I dont know if the polished lip will look very good because of all the other black on the car. im going get dark smoked headlights, fogs, and then black tail light covers. so i was thinking the black saleen wheel. but do those come in deep dish? i was thinking a deep dish 18x10 on the back and a 18x9 in the front. but i also want to drop my car a little bit more for a more aggressive stance. man this is hard. whose got some experince with this?

American muscle, late model restoration, and cruizinconcepts. The most common I beleive for cheap reasonable wheels that look good. All prices close to the same each place has 1 or 2 diffrent sets of wheels another doesn't have to checkem all out.

For me, the wheel needs a polished or aluminum lip of some sort to break up the black from the black of the tires. To me, it just makes it look like it's dirty, but to each their own. Also, if you have a lot of black accents already I'd stick with black over anthracite, because adding another color may throw it off.

These are what I decided on last spring, changed from polished Bullitts.

yeah those look pretty good with the polished lip. i wasnt sure if i would like that or not. i was wanting to get a brushed aluminum fuel door, not the black one. and if i had all black rims it would be hard. i do think ill need something to break up the black. those deep dish mag 500's look pretty good as well. but it definitely is nice to see rims on some other yellow mustangs. yellow to me seems to be a difficult color to work with but personally i think it looks great on the new edge stangs.

yeah i probably wont do the gas door. but im doing the blackout decklid and a rear window louvre. i havent seen any smoked tail lights that i like though so im going to get covers. although i think i seen a thing thats like a tinted skin that sticks to the tail lights. anybody know anything about that? and what do you guys think about headlights. should i go for th dark smoked style or halo projectors?

Tails you can paint yourself and pick your level of darkness. Paint them them with VHT tint, then clearcloat and buff 'em.

Yeah...gas door will be coming off this spring, it doesn't work on the yellow like it does on silver or black.
