negative battery cable?

Where does the larger wire in the neg battery cable go? The smaller one is already ground to the chassis, Im just not sure where the larger one goes----or if it just needs to be grounded anywhere.

^^^ yep, its to the front of the engine by the oil filter. It is attached to the same place where the holder for the starter's cable that comes across the front is attached.
