New 04 GT needs some free mods

I have cold air intake all ready but if you have a stock shifter pull the thing from around the shifter and you will see were the shifter comes to gether and there will be a rubber piece.it dampens your shifts so. I just toor that crap off and put some big bolts in there place. go to this link
here
and were the metal pieces are is where the rubber was. and that rubber sucks because you will miss alot of 2-3 shifts.after that i have not missed a shift yet. :nice:

how do u think the C&L MAF makes its power? it and the stock MAF are the same size. 76mm i believe. it just leans u out a little. just like the removal of the screen and silencer. its not enough to hurt the engine, just enough for a little power
Where do you get this info that removing the screen and silencer "leans u out a little...its not enough to hurt the engine, just enough for a little power"? Is this your observation or opinion? A/F ratio opinions result in 'boom'. Jerking around with it by twisting MAFs, removing the screen, etc. is a poor way to try to make power - it's unreliable, unpredictable and can be harmful to your mod motor.
76mm MAF? Not on any recent Mustang. Since 02, the OEM MAF is 85mm. 76mm was used back in 94-95.
