Hey all,

I have an 04 Terminator and LOVE IT! But I read an article ..well serveral on the new SVT GT 500. I'm selling my terminator and putting a down payment on the new 07 A.S.A.P!

Good LORD those things are awesome! 5.4L Whipple! BAM!

So I wounder what theses things will do with a Kenne Bell under the hood pushing 15psi instead of that whimpy 8.5 psi Eaton? I'm not sure if they are going to be Eaton's or not at this point.

Man I can't believe it! I'm so sold it retarded!

Too much $$ untill there around for a while. I am not getting into the "rape" line.

In 07, no one will know I was the first on my block to have one in 06, nor will they care.

Ummmm.... first you say Whipple, and then you have to ask whether or not they're going to be using an Eaton? Don't know what a Whipple is, eh?

Doh! you are right I was remembering the article.

Yeah that punny 8.4 PSI seems kinda smallish.... I'm sure I will be in the rape line...LOL

Several are quoting under 40K....If I recall the SVT's until just recently were that amount. Like 37K or something....

A tricked out 05 GT with a Kenne Bell is pretty McNasty.....and would cost a ton under the GT500 mark. But I want the car...well at least until the sticker shock hits. I'm sure they will be up around +3 to 5K the first few months.

Ok so now the 04 of good enough and the GT500 is optional?

LOL

Man no way....I love my 04 love it! I still have yet to part with it...will not until the 06's are here....yes that's what I heard from the FORD dealer 06 not 07.

I'm a little confused on the Daytona thing...I thought that was an 05 GT that one the races...but recently I hear it was an 06 GT 500 like vehicle. From the quotes of the drivers who finished first and second...it seems like a ton of car.

I'm confused why everyone is so freaked out by this...big deal a new car you buy them that's what's ment to happen right. LOL

Say what? I'm not sure what the heck you're trying to say?

The 2007 GT500 Shelby SVT Mustang Cobra will be available summer of 2006, but it will still be titled as an '07. For example, I bought my 2003 Cobra in July of 2002. They always come out 6+ months ahead of the actual calendar year.

No one is "Freaking Out", I will just wait it out and not pay $50,000 for a $40,000 car.

Just like I did for my 99GT, just like I did for my 03 Cobra.

Overpaying just to be first makes no sense to me. That is all, no freaking out.

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop???

Good things come to those who wait....ya dah ya dah ya dah.

I dont see why you would have to pay 50,000 for a 40,000 car. All you have to do is go to the dealer and put some money down for him to hold one at msrp. I know people for the 2005 mustang who did this and paid just what it was worth. I like sometimes waiting for the price to come down but this car isnt going to come down in price anytime soon after it comes out. I would say at least 2-3 years after it comes out it might start to come down. The 2005 corvette is the same way.
