So you've gotten through the first tank of gas on your new GT-500. It hasn't had the time to get dirty yet and rain is something that it once saw as the garage door was closing behind it. There's something missing though... Can't put your finger on the... Wait... I know! IT NEEDS MORE BOOST! 
Enter the 3.3L TVS! Word has it that the 2.3L TVS generates some 20-22 lbs of pressure on the 5.4L and that for a pump gas, street warrior, that's giving her (the motor) about all she's got without resorting to exotic fuels or other methods of keeping combustion in check. The newer 5.8L motors however, see 3-4 lbs less boost (same blower) with its larger displacement and bigger well... everything.
So what's a guy to do other than add more air? 
The word now is that Eaton and VMP are working to have this thing in the can by the SEMA show next year. There's an engineering prototype already on the table. There's still work to be done before the rotor pack can be brought to market and VMP is hashing out the rotor case.
The expectation is that the new huffer will scale proportionately with the new displacement and though pricing is not yet available, you can expect that it will be similar to other blowers in this range.
I'm sure that there may be advantages to running this newer blower on the pre 13' cars but they're pretty adamant that the additional benefits don't justify the wait over the current 2.3L.
Hell... They're already putting down 730RWHP/728RWTQ on a 2013 with a 2.3L, ongtubes, and a throttle body... Another liter or so of lung...
