Went to the track Fri night. First time out in 2 years and first time out with new car and totally new setup. My thoughts are good but not great.

Went an 11.90 @ 123.36, with a horrible 1.88 60 ft time. I only made 3 runs, 1st run was a totaly bust just roasted them off the line launching at 2500 on ET Streets. Next run i did a good burnout launched at 2500 and it fell on its face "that was the 11.91 run" 3rd run did horrible burnout and spun like crazy again. Needless to say i gotta learn how to launch this thing. Im also shifting at 5000 rpm to avoid hitting the rev limiter set at 5500. Reason its set so low is its starts to run lean after that, so i need more fuel. Im hitting the rev limiter about 50-100 ft out from the finish line to. Most guys are telling me with that trap speed thats a 10 sec car, im sure ill never get it there but im sure with practice i can get er about 11.4 or so..... Just thought id share!

I'd be pretty happy with that. You're running about where you should be. I'll bet you'll see more mph out of it eventually, too. Regardless, your traps are showing 10 second power potential.

That's a damn strong running car you've got there, sir!

Car is full weight, full interior no real weight reductions, im guessing 3300 with me in it give or take. This was at dragway 42, kinda a local place ,no REAL track prep but i take the blame for the horrible 60 foot time.
