OK I have a pretty much stock 5.0, auto 355 elec fans orx pipe muffs OK my ? Is what do I need to spray a 125 HP dry shot? Will the stock fuel pump and injectors handle it?
Items I would suggest
Zex Kit- pretty much fool proof or
the old school NOS 5115 kit - if you go this route you'll need
window switch
Regardless of the kit i'd get
155 fuel pump
at least 1 step colder plug - asf32
Adjustable FPR
Optional but recommended
Fuel pressure gauge - I mount mine on the cowl not in the car
Bottle gauge
Bottle heater
Bottle Vent tube
remote bottle opener
purge solenoid kit and switch
Stock injectors will be fine as the N02 kit will increase the FP. Start off with the 75 shot and work your way up as you check plugs and learn how to tune it.
To do it right the cost is about a grand new. If you get used be prepared to at least get new solenoids.
OK I already have a kit on the car I recently sprayed a 75 shot ran very well I have some 22lb injectors to use (but glad 19s work) not sure if they'll work but I just really wanted to know if the stock 88lph pump would work I will be using a wide band AF meter
You mean 24lb injectors? Entry level kits are made to run on stock injectors. The 19lbers are good for about 300hp.
What is the wideband for? Just read the plugs...it's a stock 5.0 not a turbo charged 347... I would at least out a 155 lph pump in it and go a step cooler in plugs.
Thanks for your help I already installed autolite 24s gapped at .035 & I ordered a 190lph pump today . I have 22lb injectors from an lt1 do you know if they'll work?
