New 2005 GT

Hello all.

I've been away from this site for awhile due to buying a MACH1, then two marauders. Couldn't take it anymore, so I bought a 2005 GT yesterday after stumbling across it while with a friend looking at '04s. Glad the original buyer couldn't close the deal.

I've been reading some of the post and have run across a couple of TSB threads. Is there a "sticky" thread that has updated TSBs? (If there is, I'm sure its right under my nose!) Thanks.

Look forward to getting up to speed on the '05.

ahh congrats on the car, must feel crazy to just walk into a dealership and say "ok ill take it" ha..... but there are a couple TSB's that are out, dont have the exact links:
-Shaker 500 problems(cd skipping, bad disc, etc.)
-Fuel Tank problem(cant pump gas)
-Popping noise in the front of the car when you turn the wheel
-Cold Start up noise(missing 2 screws in the bellhousing)

and i believe thats it, if anyone else has anymore of the link please post, thanks.. oh and btw all of these can be fixed with a 1 day visit at ur dealer

With the fuel tank problem has their been any solutions or do we have to rough it?

Call the dealer, they have a revised gas tank they can order and install.

Thanks for the replys.

I'm still on my first tank of gas from the dealer. Guess I'll find out if I have the problem shortly.

Gotta say, I did not fully beleive all of the reviews on this car, but it really is a completely different car. Much more refined without loosing the grunt!

Can't say that I noticed any of these problems. I'll keep an ear open while I'm enjoying the car and putting it to the test.
