New 2007 GT/CS

Well being stuck in Iraq for the next 11 months isnt so bad, I just special ordered my new 2007 Mustang GT Coupe California Special with every option and upgrade available. The Military Overseas Car sales program saved me about $3000 on the deal.

Got the black clear coat with the Dove seats leather heated and powered along with the Shaker 1000 as well.

One of the kids in my platoon's Dad works for Roushe so next is ordering the Blower kit !!!

It will be delivered next September and my wife will drive down to Ft Dix and pick me up in it !

Now I just need to keep my head down and eye's open and get this deployment over with !

Sure will be nice to have a Mustang again !

Thanks for all the well wishes, the next couple of days will be kinda hecktic to say the least so i might not get on the forums much..

How about some tips on upgrades in regards to suspension, shifters, exhaust ?? The blower is going on so I think the top and intake are all set now I will need to do some other stuff to make it handle well and sound good.

Does anyone know if the have fun track days at Limerock in CT ??

I like their handling pack...it's the same one on the Shelby GT. They also sell the same Hurst Shifter.

As far as exhaust goes, the one Ford Racing uses is supposed to be good (made by Borla) and is also the same as the one on the Shelby GT.

I would try to listen to exhausts because there is so much personal preference on loudness and tone, not to mention drone. Good luck!

You will just love your CS when you get it. I have a Vista Blue one and by far its been the best looking one that I have had (6) in total. If you want to fix up the interior go to MGW.com and look at all of the pieces that he has. I just got the black coin holder that fits into the chrome cup holder piece that he sells and it is really nice. Also, I added the airbrushed running pony on the front it is a real eye catching piece. Good luck over there and come back really soon!!! I appreciate all that you all do over there for our country.
