Ok, here's the deal. Just stuffed a new 302 into my '93 GT. It will start, but wont idle right or accelerate correctly. Previously, I had a Cobra intake, 24 lb injectors and matching granatelli MAF. Ram air (shouldnt matter) Larger fuel pump. Almost everything else was stock. That setup ran great! The new motor has gt 40 heads without the air lines connected (were before) A ford racing e303 cam, and BBK = length shorty heasers. Everything else on the new motor should be the same as the old one. My mechanic seems to think it's a bad MAF. However those are expensive and I want to eliminate all other possabilites before I order a new one. All of the wiring has been checked as well as vacuum lines. It seems like it may be getting too much fuel, but I may be wrong. Any advice is much appreciated!!!
