It looks like Ford Racing still has the 3V production shortblock, and the 3V forged NA / SC shortblocks. I was still able to get to the M-6010-A46NA block listing thru the shortblock path, although they no longer list it directly under engine blocks. Check with who ever you get your Ford Racing parts from to see if they still carry the block. If not, search on the webb for all of the typical mod motor performance shops. There are a gazillion new 3v production blocks floating around yet.
i thought there would be plenty of blocks to but out of about 15 dealers no one has one.i dont see why they dropped it but i can get one for the cobra, older cars and the new 5.0 ,but not the 3v.
I don't think aluminum bare blocks are available anymore, so you may have to go with an already assembled short block. I would go with the N/A block, it can still be used successfully with street/moderate boost levels.
