just bought a 94 atlantic blue gt from a local guy that was babied its whole life and only driven 50,000 miles in its 10 years. The car is in great shape and was left completely stock, and now its my turn to have fun with it. i already put a densecharger cai on it and my cobra r rims from my v6 but i need to do more. So far i plan to put a flowmaster cat back system on it and advance the timing. Any other suggestions for performance would be greatly appreciated, especially from others who have advanced the timing on their distributors. Thanks

Is it a manual?? Def. get gears,(regardless of tranny type) really wake up the car, mods depend on how much money you want to spend. Mod's in my sig. are pretty common first mods.

Sounds awesome, we need pics!!! Congrats on the car though!! I just put an off road H pipe on my car...Awesome, simply awesome. Oh also get a pro 5.0 short throw shifter. Have fun man!

atlantic blue is a really nice color, congrats. Don't get the flowmaster exhaust in my opinion, get the Magnaflow you won't regret it. gears will help but get 3.73 or 3.55, 4.10s are great but what if you want to turbocharge your car later? you have to swap them out again. 3.73 is just perfect because its not too high and not too low. I love my 4.10s gear but my new turbo won't so I have to change them out. Well good luck with the car!

Congrats on the 94 and check out the sigs and you will get a good idea of the basic mods. Gears would be my first choice and advice everytime.

its an auto, and an auto works well for me because i always bracket race my cars at the local race track so with an auto im very consistant and able to make it pretty far in the rounds. Ill post pics later on today...

Gears, pulleys(cheap), off road h or x or prochamber midpipe, short shifter(steeda/pro 5.0). And welcome to the boards.

Congratulations on the purchase of your Mustang! First thing I would do is gears. If you drive the car a lot (daily driven) I would choose 3.73's. If the car is just a weekend car, I would go 4.10's. Then get a mid-pipe and catback.

You might have to get a custom chip once you have gears installed, because the transmission will not like the changed shift points. I am not sure how true this is; maybe someone could verify this for me?
