Hello fellas. I recently traded my 89 notchback 2.3L turbo vert for a 1993 5.0 LX. I am brand new to this forum and 5.0's as well. I am looking for advice on budget upgrades. This is my 3rd ride at the time so pennys are spent sparingly on performance upgrades. Heres what I have: MSD 6AL, BBK cold air conical kit, Nitto drag radials, fiberglass cowl hood, trunk mounted battery, an uninstalled Explorer upper intake as well as a GT 40 lower also uninstalled and 153,000 on the clock. My car is a 5 speed with stock rear end, clutch, etc.... I just picked up the intakes from a friend for $200 and since the lower is brand new I figured it to be a good buy. So heres where you help a newbie out. This beast is a bit different than my 2.3L hehe. What do you think? Gears, headers, cam, pullies, heads ???? Besides NOS, whats my best bang for the buck. I love the car, but hasten to say that my 89 turbo was every bit as fast and am hungry for more. Thanks in advance guys...
