Anybody see this one yet. I got the new Brothers Performace mag today and they have it in there. Looks pretty good. No price on it yet and says will be out fall/winter 07. I tried searching for some pics but could not find anything. This is the only one I can find, straight from there magazine. So anyone seen it yet? What do you think.

Are all of those butterflys going to act like IMRCs? I wonder how that thing is going to work. Looks like it's going to be expensive.

I was actually just thinking that myself. What's the point of the butterflies?

They definitely look like IMRC's. That's not exactly a bad way to control the runners to provide excellent low end torque with the ability to have high rpm capabilities.

Looks like the FR500 intake with the butterflies on each runner for, like redfire said, controlling low end torque and high end hp. I hope it's cheaper than the FR500.

I don't see why everybody wants an intake so bad. The PI with aluminum crossover isn't that bad! And hey, if it blows up, atleast it don't shoot metal every where!

yes the stock PI instake isn't bad, but look at the low end improvements from a Bullit manifold. we're talking abouta 25ft/lbs increase down low as well as a few peak hp. now on a F/I car, you can gain as much as 40rwhp with a Bullit intake. so there is significant power to be had from a good aftermarket intake for any 2V. as far as blowing up, metal intakes don't blow up into shards like plastic intakes. they usually just blow a hole or pop a gasket. and metal intakes are much harder to blow.
