It was in the bar mans issue (5.0). I didnt like the test at all, you really need to read the article to understand what they did. The car, first off, was a 93 cobra, with a 306, edelbrock rpm heads with the 2.02 valves, stock cam, full length headers with h pipe and catback, 24# injectors, pro-m MAF. So the car had all kinds of mods.. You would think the fair comparison would be to toss a cobra intake, or edelbrock on, then compare it to the bbk. But no, they put a STOCK gt intake on LOL, WITH a STOCK tbody. So needless to say the bbk destroyed it, but still the car only made 265 rwhp and 296 rwtq. Also, when they swapped the bbk tbody on they put a 75mm throttle body as well.

Id say its one of the most missmatched combos of all time. I think the reason they put a stock gt intake on was because its brothers performance running the test and they want their bbk intake to look good.

I would like to see the intake put on a bassically stock 5.0, vs a cobra intake.. That would be a good match up.

Over-Rated ::clap clap clapclapclap:: Over-Rated ::clap clap clapclapclap::

I'd rather have a ported performer.

Seems to me with that runner design that it would be more beneficial to race applications then strip/street.

Bingo.

I try and stay away from all BBK products. I'm always one to try something new, but this isn't a case where I would. Buy a manifold that doesn't need tested because we know it works. I.E. Edelbrock, TFS, Ford.
