Thanks... I need to work on my burnout a little more, & I'm sure my 60 could get a little better, BUT, remember my suspension is not setup for drag at all. Its all super stiff road race stuff which consists of Bilstein MM coilovers with a 315 lb front spring which is far from ideal for drag racing. Plus the car is dumped & doesn't have much weight transfer at all.

Great times btw, I can agree...when it comes off the line hooking its amazing how it feels. The 1st time I launched my car on et streets it dead hooked to a 1.68 60' time and scared the crap outa me!!!! I am in the same boat, road race suspension, so no weight transfer, but still cuts a 1.6X or 1.7x 60' which makes me happy!

The sway was pretty scary at 100+ mph, but it was manageable so I stayed in it every time LOL... Personally, given your power level, & manual trans, I would not recommend downgrading to DR's, its just gonna make it harder to hook.

The Summit Pro star knock off's that I have on my car fit fine with the 1/4" spacer to clear the brakes, they are only 15X8 though, & barely clear...


Thanks for the compliment... 1.6x 60 is good enough to make me happy, & I will take my road race suspension any day over a drag setup because I love taken the twisties too much as well LOL...

Thanks... Well, the cars ran similar times, but the 60 ft in the notch was only a 1.8. With a better 60 ft, I guarantee the notch will outrun the mach & will most likely run a low 12...

I think the race stars industries wheels that I run will clear larger brakes. I'm not sure though. They are about the same price as weld draglights and prostars but they allow you to clear brakes without running spacers because the spacer is built into the wheel itself.

I'm gonna test fit my buddies 15" Summit skinnies with a 1" spacer to see if they will clear. I'm running MT ET drags in a 26X10 (I think thats the size??). I borrowed them from a buddy...
