The sway was pretty scary at 100+ mph, but it was manageable so I stayed in it every time LOL... Personally, given your power level, & manual trans, I would not recommend downgrading to DR's, its just gonna make it harder to hook.
The Summit Pro star knock off's that I have on my car fit fine with the 1/4" spacer to clear the brakes, they are only 15X8 though, & barely clear...
How many threads did you get in the back? I think I used a small spacer, the smallest I could find and I got it to clear, but I only had like 5 or 6 turns on the threads till it was touching, I didnt think that was enough? Or do you have extended studs, I didnt think ya did. If its safe, heck, then I will probably order some more agian haha
