My goal today was a 13.3 with the Mickey Thompson drag radials. First pass off the trailer car runs 13.299 at 103.47 on a 1.836 60' :hail2: Im stoked!!!! Full weight :p This was my frist pass ever on drag radials....ended up running 8 times today, the last 7 runs, all 1.7XX 60's :hail2: I love these tires!!!! I was all but dropping the clutch at 4 grand and going....after about 4 runs I let the car cool down, and decided I would pull out the spare tire and jack for kicks and giggles to see if it did anything. First pass after taking that out and letting the car cool down a little it went 13.144 at 104.10 on a 1.758 60' :D All 8 of my runs today were froma 13.144 to a 13.300.....car is running fantastic and I am more then happy with the times, I exceeded my goal once agian! Launching at the track on these drag radials is amazing! And for a car on lowered suspension, Im totally stoked!!!!
Next goal is 12.999 hopefully when I get my x-cal2 and tune from MPH....:flag:

Nice times. .....just curious , are you power-shifting (no throttle lift) ? With a 1.75 60' and a 104mph, I would think you'd be in the hi-12's:)

No, Im def. not flat shifting :nonono: I didnt want to break anything  since Ill be driving the car pretty much all summer everyday if its not raining, so I didnt want to take the chances, but I smack the gears pretty fast :nice: I wanna get the car on the dyno sometime and see where the numbers are etc, becuase Im pretyt much shifting at 6k according to my stock tach and everyone says thats to high, but the car goes right there each time, so thats where Im shifting at, on the 3-4 shift I tried a little lower, so I wanna see where the peaks are

I wish my car would come out of the hole like that... holy crap.

We have close to the same mods, but you have 3.73's... I have 4.10's... but they arent installed yet, haha.

Last time I went to the track I was launched around 38-4000rpm on 275/60/15 BFG DR's. Traction was great but the car just lugged off the line. Im pretty sure it was wayyyy too much tire for the stock gears... anyway, ran 9.1 in the 1/8th... pretty bad.

Hopefully I can get my gears in soon and hit the 1/4 mile with the sticky's again and turn your times.

Yes the rear should hold together with drag radials. The 8.8 is a good axle.

As long as you arent dead hooking (like you more than likely would with full on slicks) then you should be ok.

Thanks everyone! Cant wait to get to the track agian whenever it will be and go for that 12 second slip! Last thing on my mind was my rear haha, I fig. id I didnt think about it, it would be ok haha. Plus I wasnt launching it off the limiter or anything, so It worked great for the day!
