new bimmer

im loving the engine they put into this thing and the fact it can handle,

but the exterior is so plain looking.. would be hard parting with my dollars for it:p

obviously i have not driven an E90 M3 so take that into consideration when i say this:

if you are serious about an E90 coupe, you would be much better off buying a 335i. with nothing more than a tune you can make 340rwhp/390rwtq and have a much better torque curve than any M motor ever built---not to mention you can get one for about $15k less than the M3 will be

You're talking about the twin turbo 3.0L correct? I bet those cars would fly with a tune, full exhaust, and maybe some other minor tweaks. I'm pretty sure u can get them with a 6spd manual too. Thats what i'd get :nice:

yup. twins, 10:1 comp, direct injection, 6spd man and auto. like i said before---$1300 plug and play programmed ecm nets 340rwhp/390rwtq on sport package cars, stock everything else.

interesting thx for the info, im in no position to buy either financially right now however I do take alot of interest in price/performance of cars in general, and what they are capable of :D

what years does it come with the twin turbo 6?

my x-roomate had a 2002 bmw 330ci modded to death, it seemed like a painfully expensive process for that model.

oh and i agree the e36 m3 looks way better

the turbo model is a 335i and i believe it is an 07-up model, there may be a late 06 though.

a modded e46 330 is a lot of money pissed away. he would have been much better off saving mod money and buying an M car---E36 or E46 would be a good improvement over a modded E46 330.

i like E36's, but E46's are badass. the guy next to me was working on one today that had coilovers, 4wheel 4piston 2pc rotors stoptech brakes, camber rods/plates, and the almighty SMG tranny. i made love to that car a few times today.
