Well i think I am going to bite the bullet and finally start my engine project right and go with an R block. No point in going with a stock one, so I figure I may as well go big. Anyone have an idea what the R block will cost in Cnd $$

Spenc shoot me an e-mail if you have a line on them.

Time will tell

Might as well start with a good base. Only as good as your weakest link so they say.

Thanks Mario If I plan on adding boost someday I may as well have the strong base to use it with is the way I am seeing it.

I could re-do one of the 3 blocks I have here in the garage, but I am hearing nothing but good about the R block so go big or go home I guess

Exactly. I didnt bother with my block and internals for my 95 cause its not my real "dream" car or project. But for my future Fox body, I'll have to do the same thing as you

How about a DART 4bolt main ? That's what I'm going with and if you get yours with mine I should be able to get you into the KING of blocks for the same price or less than the R block?

interested? email me bro as I have to talk to Richard Maskin at Dart here as soon as the exchange drops again. Steel prices have gone through the roof! Kicking my arse for not ordering back 3 mths ago when the exchange hit 1.26 %

:0(

We're a DSS and Coast High Dealer as well so either or I'll see what I can do for you.
