Romeo is easier since you already have a Romeo in your GT. There are a few differences in parts among the engines. It's all interchangeable, but will cost a little extra to do.

If you haven't bought the heads yet I would look at doing trickflow heads instead of the patriot stage II's. From what I have seen the price is the same but the trickflow will give you more hp and will be more friendly for cams and such.

I totally agree with this. In fact, if you get the TF's with the smaller CC it will actually raise your compression and make it easier to attain your goal of 300 RWHP. These heads have the added benefit of being able to run a more aggressive cam as well because of the extra PTV clearance.

If you don't want to go with the TF heads, I'd look into a ported head/cam combo from Nick McKinney at MHS. I know I bring him up a lot, but the guy has a lot of experience with modular stangs and offers a great deal on a stage 2 PI head/cam combo... IIRC It's like $2200 shipped and they degree the cams and include adjustable crank gears. That's a great deal if you ask me.

mhs has the TF wit a stage 3 bullet cam with a retarded intake duration so u dont need notched pistons for $3350.

i think that gonna be my route. either head "assembled" is not truely assembled... no plugs or rockerarms on patriot or TF. so to have a true complete set whit degreed cams is the way togo.

thanks for the input... and the more i look the more i like the logans sheetmetal intake.... gonna have to put that at the top of my xmas list! lol

if 300 will be easy to reach then lets go for 350!

If 350 is your goal, I'd recommend getting a set of 4V pistons w/ the -2.6 CC dish for your build. Paired w/ PI heads this combo should yield a c/r around 12:1
