Hi, I have a 67 with drum brakes on it and want to put a set of 17x8 bullits off an 04 GT on it. What parts do I need to make this work, are there any kits out there. ( I have a mustang2 front end that I haven't installed yet, but they have 4 bolt discs so I can't tell if they will fit.) I am only 14 so I don't have a lot of money, is there a way to do this cheap? Can I use parts off a 79 to 93 fox, ie the front discs, etc? Thanks for your help, Cody

I didn't know they made a mustang II front with 4 bolt...If you have an inline 6, then you need a set of 5 lug disc or drums. You really need to give us a little more info. If you want bullitts off an 04, you need 5 lug, and I didn't think the MII was a 4 lug. Someone back me up with the correct info here..sorry

MII stock was 4 lug, but everyone swaps to different rotors when they perform the MII swap. That should pretty much be all for the 5 lug part. The Bullitt wheels will require wheel adapters but I have no idea what size adapter you'd need though.

you need to order 1" wheel spacers/adapters off ebay ($140)

If you have 4 lug, I suggest swapping to 5 lug. The cheapest way to do this is to find an early model donor car in a junkyard. You will need the axles, drums, spindles, etc.

However, we really do need a little more info

Hi guys. This is Cody's dad. Thanks for taking the time to respond. I wanted to shed a little more light on this inquiry. We do in fact have a 77 mach 1 crossmember assembly with 4-lug rotors that we could use to suppliment a future front-end upgrade. We would acquire 5-stud rotors and other matching components to complete the refit. In the meantime, we have the opportunity to run the bullit-style 17x8 rims on the existing stock '67 rotors. There are clearance problems, and we thought to seek-out a solution. It appears that the spacers are the way to go. Thanks again. Nick

how can you bump this when all three responses asked for more information.

Are you going to run a M2 front end with a 4bolt? Is that even right that they have an M2 front end with a 4bolt? Do you have a 4bolt or 5 bolt front end now?

What information do you want?

If you have an M2 front end with a 4lug rotor ....you have two options...change to a 5 lug rotor from an M2 front end or use a late model donor car. You can order wheel adapters...1" thick on ebay. If you want to retain your 4lug wheels, you can order the adapter with your 4lug bolt patter that will adapt and allow you to bolt a 5x4.5 lug pattern wheel on your car (late model bullets)

They are $140 for a set of 4. Its up to you if you want to keep 4 lug or convert to 5lug. Converting to 5lug is not going to be cheap and you will still have to buy wheel adapters. Its up to you.
