i'm doing the same build up to my LXnotch as my sn95 basically MAF/TB/intake/heads/roller rockers/headers/open exhaust, stock cam
my GT makes good power after 3000rpm's but lopes on idle
my LX is a auto, and i want a smooth idle, but.. i want to move the power band lower so it's fun to drive on the street any thoughts? suggestions?
thanks guys

the stock cam in the lx makes good lowend power. but like tmoss said in another post youd have to get the valve events and call up a cam maker like ed curtis or whoever and tell them what you want to do and they can tell you how much to retard the cam. im guessing you want to move the power band down

valve events are the cam specs. when the intake valve opens and when the exhaust valve opens, how many degrees of seperation between them, and the lift of the cam. im not too sure how you go about gettin that info, probably have to take the lifters out and get like a cam lobe dial or smething and turn the cam and measure everything. ed curtis is the cam guru who works for FTI. check out their website
