My car has been down for quite a while now, but i had to move it a short distance at my house a few weeks ago and i couldn't get it into gear. It would almost engage, but not go all the way in. I had just gotten the tranny fixed but it's been sitting for another problem. This is what it looks like right before it goes into the firewall...plus when i bought it a new Advance auto cable was put in which is about 3 yrs old since i've had it. Thinking a brand new OEM ford cable would do the trick?
