So this thing is about finished up, new clutch went in, but no the clutch cables seems to be way to long. Like the throw out bearing or release bearing is in a diff position, which I assume it is.
Seems when I put the throw out bearing in and installed the transmission I bump the TOB arm and now it seems to be moving sloppy. Like its not installed correctly. I know it is though but maybe that little spring fork and ball/dentin isnt seated correctly? is this possible? Maybe its just moves way too much with all the freeplay/travel.
The car has a factory new Ford Clutch cable, billet quadrant, and a billet adjuster through the firewall. I took as much slack out of it as possible but it wasnt enough.
Should just have barely some slack in the cable correctly.
Im hoping once its adjusted correctly the fork will not slop around as much.

I guess a adjustable clutch cable will help?
Any way to take some stroke out of this cable from under the dash with the quadrant?

Oh yea after I ground off those useless lugs (one on each side) the trans went in and had it button up in just a few hours.
Considering I had 10+ hours taking it out...which I didnt find the top starter bolt forever.. LOL
